MASON CITY - The Cerro Gordo County Board of Supervisors on Tuesday accepted a low bid of $101,309 for office furniture for the Cerro Gordo County Law Enforcement Complex.
The bid, submitted by Office Elements, with headquarters in Cedar Rapids and a branch office in Mason City, was $3,000 lower than the next closest of two other bids.
Cerro Gordo County Sheriff Kevin Pals said the cost of the furniture and electronics were included in the $12 million budget for the new jail complex.
The new jail and sheriff department headquarters is scheduled to be completed in December.
