Lime Creek holds carving contest

MASON CITY - The Lime Creek Nature Center is holding a pumpkin carving contest in conjunction with their twentieth annual Halloween Hike. All pumpkins entered in the contest will be set out on the trail for the Halloween Hike, which occurs on Thursday, Oct. 26, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.

 

Carved pumpkins must be delivered to the Lime Creek Nature Center on Tuesday, Oct. 24, between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 7 p.m.

 

Prizes will be awarded. Registration is required to enter this contest. Please call (641)423-5309 by 4 p.m. Friday, Oct. 20, for more information.
