MASON CITY - Members of the Cerro Gordo County Conservation Board's Roadside Management staff have begun the annual fall tree and brush removal within county road right-of-ways.
Trees and brush will be removed in the next few months, according to the county's brush removal policy.
County residents who would like a whole dump truck of wood chips can call the Conservation Board at (641)423-5309 to have their location included on the list of potential dump sites.
Chips will be dumped at private citizen locations when staffers are cutting in their area. Citizens must have their sites flagged at the spot they want the chips unloaded.
Residents and non-residents of Cerro Gordo County who do not want a full load of chips can obtain them in the spring at the Lime Creek Nature Center.
