Ballot-marking machines are now being made available for each precinct in Cerro Gordo County for any voter who needs assistance in marking a ballot. One of the machines is also available at the county auditor's office for use by absentee voters and for scheduled demonstrations.
The ballot-marking machines were be used for the first time in Cerro Gordo County at the 2006 Primary Election, and have been used in every election in the county since that time.
